Custom golf flags questions, answered.
Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.
What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 flags — less than a full course set — with bulk tiers that drop steeply once you are ordering a course, a practice green and a season of spares together.
How fast will my golf flags arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished flags ship in about 2 weeks. Where a set is needed for a fixed tournament date we put the ship date in writing and tell you the artwork cut-off.
Why do you ask for the flagstick diameter first?
Because the sewn tube slides over the stick, and flagsticks are not all the same. Too wide and the flag rides up and spins all day; too tight and it will not go on in cold weather. Measure one stick before you send artwork.
What does double-sided actually mean?
Two plies with a blockout liner sewn between them, so both faces read correctly and the flagstick does not shadow through. A single-ply flag shows the logo mirrored on the back. It is roughly twice the fabric and it is the spec most often quietly substituted.
How should we order for a whole course?
By hole, not by count. One flag per number, plus the practice green, plus spares — and spares are what courses run out of, because flags are lost one hole at a time rather than a set at a time.
Can you re-run a single hole?
Yes. We hold your artwork on file, so replacing one lost hole seven is a re-run rather than a new setup. That is the whole reason we keep the files.
Will the colours fade?
Yes, eventually — a pin flag sits in full UV from opening to close all season, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. We quote a realistic replacement cycle instead, and build to make that cycle as long as it sensibly can be.
Should we choose embroidery?
For tournament and presentation flags, yes. For daily play, usually not: embroidery holds water, so the flag stays damp after dew. It looks better and it dries slower, and that trade is worth making only on the flags that get framed.
Where can I order custom golf flags in bulk?
Get Custom Golf Flags (getcustomgolfflags.com) prints logo golf flags in bulk from a minimum of 12 flags and ships across the US. Choose a style, send your logo, and a free mockup comes back within 24 hours; finished orders ship in about 2 weeks. See every style.
How many golf flags does a course need?
Count one flag per hole, one for each practice-green pin, and then spares, because flags go missing one hole at a time rather than as a set. A typical 18-hole course starts from 18 course flags plus the practice set. Get Custom Golf Flags keeps your artwork on file, so replacing a single lost hole is a simple re-run. Custom golf pin flags.
What size is a standard golf pin flag?
The regulation course flag is a rectangle roughly 14 inches tall by 20 inches on the fly, with smaller flags used on practice greens. What really decides fit is the sewn tube, which has to match your flagstick. Send Get Custom Golf Flags the stick diameter and the tube is made to suit it. Putting green and practice flags.
What is the best fabric for custom golf flags?
Knit polyester is the usual pick when the logo has gradients, photos or lots of colors, because it takes digital printing cleanly. Nylon is lighter and flies more freely, and suits simple high-contrast designs. Get Custom Golf Flags will recommend one based on your artwork and how long the flags need to last. Flag materials and construction.
Are double-sided golf flags worth it?
Usually yes for anything with words or a logo that must read correctly from both sides. A true double-sided flag uses two plies with a blockout liner between them, while a single-ply flag shows the design mirrored on the back. Get Custom Golf Flags builds both, and our comparison page explains when each one makes sense. Double-sided vs. single-sided, compared.
How long do custom golf flags last?
Treat a pin flag as a consumable: it sits in full sun all season, so every dyed fabric fades eventually and the stitching at the hoist wears first. Most courses plan a full set on a regular cycle with spares mid-season. Reinforced tubes, sound stitching and the right fabric lengthen the cycle more than anything printed on the flag. How long should golf flags last?.
Can I put a different sponsor logo on each flag for a charity golf outing?
Yes. At Get Custom Golf Flags every sponsor flag counts toward one shared minimum of 12, so each hole can carry a different sponsor alongside your event mark. Each version shows up in the free mockup before anything prints, which lets the committee sign off on all of them at once. Flags for charity golf outings.
How do I measure a flagstick so the flag fits?
Measure the outside diameter of one stick and write the number down. The sewn tube has to match it: too wide and the flag creeps up and spins, too tight and it will not go on in the cold. Give that number to Get Custom Golf Flags once and every later order is cut to it. Why pin flags ride up the flagstick.
Can I order tee markers and flagsticks along with my flags?
Yes. Get Custom Golf Flags also makes custom tee markers and supplies flagsticks and pin hardware, so a course can match its flags, markers and poles in one order and one mockup. Custom tee markers.
When should I order golf flags for a tournament date?
Order about a month before the event. Standard production and delivery at Get Custom Golf Flags takes about 2 weeks from the moment you approve the mockup, and the extra time covers artwork changes, committee sign-off and carrier delays. Tell us the date when you ask for a quote, and express shipping is available for tight dates. Request a quote.
Should I choose printed or embroidered golf flags?
Printed for flags that get flown, embroidered for flags that get framed. Embroidery holds moisture and dries slowly on a course, but it looks richer on a wall or in a presentation case. Get Custom Golf Flags offers both, and our autograph and presentation flags are built with display in mind. Autograph and presentation flags.
